For Mawashi, the science of Human Factors means knowing the internal and external systems of the human body, how the body reacts to specific situations, and how to appropriately design apparel and equipment that addresses these reactions and situations and enhances individual protection.

Our Human Factors science results in apparel and equipment that ensures the end-user will be mobile, flexible, comfortable, non-fatigued, non-distracted, and most importantly be well protected from ballistic, blunt-impact, heat, and other serious threats.
The sciences of Human Factors and Biomimetics are utilized together to create apparel and equipment that act as a "second-skin" for the individual. By knowing the body structure and its dynamic mechanisms we are able to provide clothing, under-layers, plates, helmets, etc. that complement the body's natural motions and systems while providing high levels of protection.
